ABOUT AEROLITO

Aerolito  is a Comic Book stamp created by Lucas Marques and Bruno Prosaiko (yes, that name came from our beloved El Chapulin). Founded in 2014 amid the boom in the independent comics scene in Brasilia, Aerolito is focused on producing comic books with various genres and themes now.

With a degree in Visual Arts from the University of Brasília, he soon realized that teaching was not his thing and dropped that idea. He started in comics through the independent magazine Aerolito (2014), a three-volume anthology created with his friends. He is the author of the zine Guia de Sobre-Vivência Social (2014). Passionate about roleplaying games, he was co-author and illustrator of the satirical RPG BIRL: Monster Planet! (2016). In 2018 he was co-author and colorist of the comic book series Ciça, the saci-girl, author of the comic book Gambling Souls in Aldebaran, which introduces the RPG Solar Blades & Cosmic Spells, and he was also co-author and organizer of the collective zine +Morra!. He has been working professionally with roleplaying games since 2016, working as an illustrator and designer for publishers such as New Order, Jambo, RetroPunk, Pensamento Coletivo, Fábrica, AVEC, Pluma Press and Old Skull Publishing.

Graduated in Visual Arts. During university life, he published fanzines and comic strips. In a partnership with friends, he created a comic magazine anthology Aerolito (2014), that generated three volumes with short stories by several authors. He is co-author and main artist of the webcomic Ciça, the saci girl (2018). Cesariana (2019), a self-fiction graphic novel, is his debut as a solo artist. Three times awarded winner of the international contest Silent Manga Audition (SMA), including the first place with the comic Never Late (2019), he guaranteed his admission to the Masterclass in Japan. He has also achieved an award at the 13th Japan International Manga Awards (2020) with Rites of Passage – When we were siblings.
